Full Service Schedule

My Car Servicing provide online access to your service report whilst the vehicle is in the workshop, your full service schedule will be displayed within this report.

Our approved full service covers the following items.

• Check vehicle History
• Check protective Covers
• Check operation of ABS and air bag warning lights*
• Check windscreen washers and wipers
• Lubricate all door hinges, locks, and bonnet catches
• Check timing belt replacement interval*
• Check condition and operation of all seat belts
• Check air conditioning operation including bad odor*
• Check horn
• Apply treatments to remove internal contamination
• Check damage to bodywork, lamps, trims, oil level
• Check peration of interior and exterior lights
• Check operation of suspension dampers
• Check fuel cap
• Check cooling system including fan operation
• Check auxilary drive belts (not timing belts)
• Check power steering operation and fluid condition
• Check battery level and lubricate terminals
• Check anti-freeze protection
• Check engine breather system
• Check throttle body. clean if required
• Check bonnet fluid levels top up
• Replace fuel filter(Diesel)
• Check brake fluid condition
• Check vaccum pipes
• Replace air filter
• Replace pollen filter*
• Replace spark plugs*
• Change oil, filter and fit new sump plug washer
• Check and top up axle and transfer box oil levels
• Check and top up gearbox oil level*
• Check all wheel bearings for excessive play and noise
• Check clutch cable/cylinder*
• Check operation and condition of rear brakes
• Check fuel lines and brake pipes
• Check all steering, suspension joint, mountings and gaiters
• Check CV gaiters and joints for wear or splits
• Grease all greasing points*
• Carry out brake report
• Check condition and security of exhaust
• Carry out tyre report
• Check operation and condition of front brakes
• Refill engine with specific grade oil
• Torque wheel nuts/studs
• Roadtest vehicle and report any findings
• Recheck engine oil level
• Carry out emission report*
• Reset service interval indicator*
• Ensure all apholstery, gear lever, steering wheel etc. are clean
• Stamp service books

Please note: Specialist oils, special or long life plugs (*where applicable)are subject to extra cost. My Car Servicing will not proceed with any additional work or charges without your authority.
